Theresa A. Ragozine

Theresa Ragozine, vice president, procurement business services with Johnson & Johnson, is responsible for the healthcare company's global fleet, travel, meetings and relocation programs, provides procurement support for its consulting, legal and professional services needs and oversees its global procurement operations.

A 30-year Johnson & Johnson veteran, Ms. Ragozine started her career in the company's international export division. Ms. Ragozine's honors and citations include Fleet Executive of the Year, General Electric's Award of Excellence, Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) Award and America Blood Centers' President's Award.

A graduate of Rutgers University in 1980, she earned an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1992, and completed the Smith College Leadership Consortium in July 2008. Serving as Johnson & Johnson's program director for what is recognized as one of the largest and most successful corporate blood drives is what brought Ms. Ragozine to the FABC board.

"It provides an opportunity to improve the ability of patients to receive the blood they need in the U.S. and around the world," Ms. Ragozine said. "America's Blood Centers has 50 years of experience sharing best practices among community-based blood centers, and has much to offer countries less fortunate. Any way you look at it, this work translates to saving lives. What's more important than that?"
